This past week, both the rain and Taylor’s cold were lingering, so we were getting a bit of cabin fever. By the time Wednesday rolled around, the weather wasn’t any better, but T.J. was and so she went to her buddy Cameron’s house in the morning while I went to work. Usually when I drop her off, she gets a little upset when I leave. Not this time – I think she was so relieved to see fresh faces and new toys because she didn’t so much as glance in my direction when I said goodbye. The weather finally seemed to turn the corner on Thursday and it was bright and sunny outside so we got a little dose of sunshine to hold us over through the coming rainy days.
The word of the week is “cheese” – Taylor has said it a couple of times, so we’ll add it to her vocabulary list. She also has been saying “duh”, when she sees a dog. It sounds very similar to “dada” (daddy), but there’s a subtle difference. Somehow “mama” is still coming out as “dada” – we’ve still got some work to do on that one!
This one needs some explaining…I found Taylor sleeping face down (snoring) with her hands tucked underneath her and her bum hiked up in the air. Okay, maybe you had to be there, but it was SO CUTE!!
